PDN-Edu - Fall 2018

As the name implies, University Hill is home to many Boulder-area students. The neighborhood is filled bars and restaurants as well as entertainment options. University Hill is also close to Chautauqua Park, a beautiful green space at the foot of the Flatirons with a performance art venue.

Located south east of the Boulder Reservoir, Gunbarrel is more residential than University Hill or Downtown. It’s a developing neighborhood with miles of hiking and biking trails for outdoor enthusiasts, but still has plenty of amenities like coffee shops and restaurants making it an attractive place to live.

Located in Denver and accessible as an online program, the Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design offers a BFA in photography.

Graduates have gone on to work in advertising, aerial/drone photography, digital retouching, photojournalism and more.

Only 45 minutes from Boulder, the University of Denver offers students a BA degree or minor in art, which enables students to take several courses in photography, ranging from introductory courses to alternative photographic techniques.
