The University of Texas (UTA) offers BA
and BFA degrees in studio art, allowing
students to study a range of mediums
including photography, ceramics, metals and drawing. The BFA program is
designed to help develop artistic skills
for graduate study or for a professional
visual arts career. This program includes equal amounts of studio art and
general education courses, while the
BA program has a ratio of 30 required
hours of art to 90 hours of courses in
UTA’s School of Journalism also offers
BA and MA degrees in photojournalism,
with a strong emphasis on documentary, digital storytelling and video. UTA
also boasts the Harry Ransom Center,
a renowned arts and humanities library

five associate of applied science degree

The degree courses are 100 percent
digital and have a strong focus on the
business side of the profession. ACC’s
technology and facilities are cutting-edge, with four computer labs and three
studios that range in size from 700 to
4,200 square feet, all equipped with
state-of-the art equipment.
